Hello Patty?
Yes?
Haven't seen you in forever. Wanna chill?
Sure!
Pick me up at the train station.
Okay!
So she does. Not only does she pick him up, she brings a man she hasn't seen in well over 10 years to her house. Instead of going to a local 24 hour diner and having a coffee then bringing him back, they reminisce into the night and end up falling asleep.
Why in the hell did she go upstairs and leave him downstairs by himself? I don't know! Why did I have to call her at 4 in the morning wondering where she was? Because when I got home her car wasn't there, and neither was she! At first I thought she might be getting her swerve on at some undisclosed location. Being the ball-buster that I am, I called to check. When I heard her groggy, obviously asleep voice I assumed it was game on. It wasn't. She was upstairs, and her car was gone!
So why do I ask what my superhero name is? Relax, I'll tell you.
By the time we had made the police report it was about 6 in the morning. We were tired, and upset. Not only did he steal her car, he stole a honey baked ham (see Hook, I need you!),all her alcohol, and MY LAPTOP! (hence, no posts in a while) At 11 o'clock, my sweetheart let me use her car to go to the city and look for Patty's car. (because that happens a lot)
I guess GOD was with us, because I somehow managed to find her car. In a strange plot to make money, most car producers make several cars of the same make in the same color. Weird I know, but they do it. Only intuition told me that the car I saw was hers. I admit, I lost it behind a few red lights as I was turning around. Only dumb luck must have made them come up a street I was about to cross. So I parked the car I was driving in front of the street they were about to exit, and got out. They tried to escape, but got blocked in. I was already on the phone calling the police. Somehow, the cops actually got there in time. The passengers and driver bailed out and went their own way and we recovered the car. 11 hours after it was initially stolen, largely in part to me, Patty had her car back! SuperNigga to the rescue!
Unfortunately, the laptop wasn't in the car.

All my music. All my pictures. The only picture in existence of both my children together, gone. Even sadder, no way to recoup it. Why is it that I can always seem to help others, but no one can help me? No one said being a superhero would be easy. But it seems I've chosen my path, and however unselffulfilling (is that even a word?), I'll continue to walk that path.
Because I was selfless, she continues to have a life. I on the other hand have lost one of the things that was most important in my life. My ability to reach all of you and tell you the crazy things that go through my head is hard to place a value on. But it's something I need. Who knows when I'll get $600.00 to replace the laptop and another $150 for the external drive. But when I do, you'll be the first ones to know. Until then, I'll post as I can. I haven't left, I'm just a bit out of touch. Maybe SuperNigga should hang up his cape!
I love you all.
Fisk: OUT!
